Whether it's more than a brazen clone, we reveal in the test. Now the game has been released for just under 23 euros. Even then, not only the art design, but also the targeted game mechanics reminded of The Banner Saga. In May 2017, the Moscow developers of AurumDust on Steam asked for the green light for their tactical role-playing game Ash of Gods: Redemption. By now I got over from the low score we got for Legends of Eisenwald, but they now gave this cool game a 5. I for one will place the first ever media on my black list:. While I like TBS visual style better, the game as whole I like AoG better. No, it's not a clone, while some things are similar, AoG is quite a different game that can stand on its own. I met the developers too and apologized for my quick and wrong impression AoG being a clone of TBS. I didn't care much for combat (not a fan of TBS combat either) but the story and presentation alone make it worth. The story is amazing, the way it's presented is amazing too. I started to play it and forgot about time. Last year in Autumn on Devgamm games conference that was in my hometown (Minsk, Belarus) I was a judge and this game was on my list. I initially thought AoG was a clone of Banner Saga and didn't even back them during Kickstarter.
